This is a children’s illustration book i wrote and illustrated.It was highly commended by the Macmillan Prize 2019.
Synopsis:
Cat baby loves cat nana. One deep autumn, cat nana passes away, but cat baby is too young to understand what is death. Therefore, cat baby sets out a journey to find nana. From autumn to spring to another autumn, cat baby sees the changes of seasons and the life circle of an apple tree from fallen leaves to fruit. Cat baby grows up and learns nana never leaves but transforms into love and memories.
